Supporting Metal Heads Since 80’s

July 24th, 2009

Sometimes people ask me how I’m able to be so young and also in a heavy metal band that is almost as old as me. The answer is, I love heavy metal. There’s just something about it that I’ve always known rang the truth bell in my head. I suppose that’s why we bang our heads. Anyway, through my support for TrueHeavyMetal.com I have briefly assembled a history lesson for you:

  • Before 1995. True Heavy Metal was being preached by proponents of the bad and loud creed. Some of these people were: Manowar (mentioning ‘True Metal’), Forever’s End (serving ‘True Heavy Metal’) and they were doing it during the 80’s (and before).
  • 1995-2001. True Heavy Metal tempered its metal in the rough end years of the millennium. Proving that metal never went away or “died” as it was erroneously put by many so called heavy metal journalists.
  • 2001-2003. True Heavy Metal has a website: TrueHeavyMetal.com and served millions of metal heads on MP3.com with our very own True Heavy Metal Radio station. Since the domain name was sold to CNET, True Heavy Metal Radio’s free service was usurped.
  • 2003-2009. True Heavy Metal hibernates as it builds a reputation in the world community of metal heads. True Heavy Metal Radio has existed in variable disarray and been mostly defunct. Plans for reintroducing the powerful high-ranking play list and official True Heavy Metal radio DJs have been made and thus a rebuilding of the web site was in order.
  • 2009-Future. True Heavy Metal depends upon you the true metal head. Coming soon in the Winter of 2009, TrueHeavyMetal.com hopes to debut a new radio station and video channel for products, services, that the true heavy metal community wants!

What have we learned? Easy come, easy go. Our community of metal heads all agree on the same thing. We love a good heavy metal album. We do not like singles. And we trust in true heavy metal to out last everything else.
